 Young Adult Programming

Stephen Turnbull (the CUC’s first Youth Observer – now young adult) has served on the ACM Program Planning committee to help select concurrent sessions of interest to young adults. Contact young-adults@cuc.ca

Michael Tino, UUA Director of Young Adult/Campus Ministry will be at the ACM delivering workshops and available for consultation.

Soulful Sundown worship service will be led by (mainly) young adults on Sunday night after the banquet. If you are able to help plan the worship, contact soulful-sundown@cuc.ca

Please send a note to young-adults@cuc.ca  if you have suggestions or want to be involved.

Young Adults, Unite!

I'm getting more and more excited about the ACM. A mysterious vibe tells me it's going to be something special, something fresh. Coming from what seems like a near-void of presence in the UU community, I feel we are now riding a wave of
monumental potential. We are reaching mass awareness on the issue of a young adult gap and with the express support of both the CUC and the UUA I am convinced that this ACM and the next are going to help bring young adults together - and into the community - more than ever before.

Beyond the workshops, lectures, coffeehouse, and worships, we young adults finally have a golden opportunity to take our game to the next level. What do you want? How would you like to be involved? Let’s get together!

I hope as many young adults as possible follow this momentum to the ACM and get connected with the others. Young adults, you’ve got a vast selection of fun and engaging activities, and you can join me in hatching a really shakin' Soulful Sundown! Got a funky idea for a theme? Got some mad skills you’re itchin’ to let
loose? Wondering what it's all about?
Email me at feeltheharmony@yahoo.ca and I'll sign you up to our yahoogroup.

Also, if you want, I can send you the Diversity Survey. It's an easy way to tell a bit about you and share your vision of a young adult future. And you'll be part of a cross-Canada survey, so you’ll eventually get to see who others are and what they think. Come on - everybody’s doin’ it!
