Join us at Algonquin College for the 2008 ACM 

Algonquin College is located in the west end of Ottawa, just a few minutes by car from the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa and directly across the street from public transportation.  The campus features restful green spaces and quads nestled among the buildings.  Bring comfortable shoes and a refillable water container to enjoy a quiet stroll on campus, and to enjoy local shopping, restaurants, picnic tables and walking paths in the area. 

Reasonably priced residence facilities offer two bedroom suites with double beds, and a fridge, sink, microwave, TV, blue box and a bathroom with a shower.  All linens and toiletries are supplied, and the residence has 24-hour security and controlled-access entry. Towels etc will be changed on demand not daily. 

Conveniently located, the residence is a few minutes walk from the ACM registration area, In-gathering Celebration, Worship Services, Exhibits area, and concurrent sessions.

ACM participants are welcome to use the residence exercise room and coin operated washers/dryers.

The cost for each suite is $79 plus tax per night; which includes free parking and a continental breakfast.  Residents should ask for a parking permit when they check in.

Each bedroom has high-speed internet available. The internet service is free-of-charge, but it is not wireless. There is a regular network jack located on the back of the telephone in each of the bedrooms.

To reserve a suite at Algonquin call their toll-free number at 1-877-225-8664. This number is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please tell the operator that you are looking to pick up a room at Algonquin College under the group reservation number 85001 – Canadian Unitarian Council.

Remember to bring your bicycle to the 2008 ACM.  Bicycle racks are conveniently located on the Algonquin College campus.
