Circle of Song Open Stage - Open Invitation to Performers

Share your song, reading, or joke with us at the 'Circle of Song Open Stage' microphone beginning right after the Ingathering Service on Friday evening.

We'd love to hear from you in advance if you'd like to perform - and if you need accompaniment. Contact us at acmsocialevents@gmail.com  or come to The Meeting Place - Rendezvous 2008 when you arrive.

Ceilidh Dancing - Saturday, May 17 at 9 pm

Kick up your heels and join us for some fun with Ananda Kelly and her Wandering Minstrels (caller plus 3 musicians) who will guide us through the steps. Everyone is welcome. Light Refreshments


BREAKING BREAD AT THE 2008 ACM

Most ACM meal events are ticketed so be sure to indicate when registering that you plan to attend.

If you have not pre-registered, some last minute tickets may be available for sale on-site at the Registration Area at a higher cost.

People not registered for the ACM can also attend meals, with an additional charge.

Visit The Meeting Place – Rendezvous 2008 if you do not plan to join us for these meals and would like information on local restaurants.

Friday, May 16th

Saturday, May 17th

  • Lay Chaplaincy Recognition Lunch - $20 (pre-register please). No charge to lay chaplains who have retired or become a new lay chaplain in past year.

  • Lunch during the Mini-Plenary on CUC Annual Meeting Resolutions - $20  (pre-register please)

  • UU United Nations Office Reception at 5:15 pm, Foyer outside Salon A and B. Cash bar.

  • Beyond Our Borders – International Dinner & Presentations at 5:45 pm, Salon A and B - $40 (pre-register please)

Sunday, May 18th

  • CUC Friends Breakfast at 7:30 am - 8:45 am - by invitation and RSVP. If you donated to the CUC Friends campaign this year, send a note to friends@cuc.ca  to request an invitation.

  • Multigenerational Day Lunch coordinated by USC Canada at 12:15 pm - 1:45 pm. Presentation and Puppet show “Just Food” by Kingston Unitarian Fellowship and Empty Bowls Exchange - tickets required: $20 adults; $10 children 11 and under. Cost included for Young Fun, Junior Youth and Youth Program participants. Click here to learn about the recipients of the Empty Bowls fund.

  • Young Adult Potluck Dinner - Contact acm-young-adults@cuc.ca  for information

  • Dinner and Knight Award Presentation – reception at 7:00 pm in Foyer (cash bar) and dinner at 7:30 pm in Salon A and B followed by music performed by Tony Turner and others - $40 (pre-register please)
     

Monday, May 19th

  • UU Partner Church Council Breakfast at 7:30 am - 8:45 am. Invitations sent to all participating CUC congregations (pre-register please)

Purchase tickets in advance so we can order catering. Any tickets available on site will be at 25% more, i.e. $20 tickets will be $25; $40 dinners will be $50.
