Growing Vital Religious Communities In Canada

Member Congregations
and Fellowships
Our Congregations exist to offer a warm, open, supportive community. They endeavour to provide a place where individuals can meet and find understanding and fellowship. Unitarians look to each other for intellectual stimulation and emotional strength through all the stages and difficulties of life, and for the celebration of life's joys and sorrows.

There are no set forms for Unitarian services of worship. There is instead a coming together of people to acknowledge what they share together, to celebrate their differences, and to search for the elusive truth. For Unitarians ethical living is the supreme witness of their religion.

If you start with the premise that religion is a way of life, then it follows that Unitarian religious education is education for life. In programs for all ages, Unitarians are encouraged to become aware of their capacity to make sense of the experiences of their lives and of the lives of others. This search for religious truth takes place in an atmosphere of mutual respect, tolerance and support.
