Eco Celebration for the whole Family

The annual Clean Up The Don Campaign (April 22-May 4th, 2002) concludes
with the largest family Eco Celebration in Toronto - Living Rivers Festival -
on Sunday, May 5th (noon-5pm) at:
Don Valley Brick Works Bayview, south of Pottery
Road,Toronto.
Unitarians
from the GTA will be staffing a table at the Festival.

Eco Market: A vibrant Marketplace of green lifestyle products and services
Product Showcase: Green product demonstrations. A showcase for innovation
Eco Info: Learn about the issues from leading environmental organizations
and experts
It is Your Backyard!: Connect to a Stewardship Group nearest you and learn
what you can do for Don River!
Eco Whiz Quiz: A lively and fun ...got the answer? - get the prize!...

Opening Ceremony (1 pm):
Celebrate creativity and environmental connections as expressed in the Don
Valley Art Mural, created by children from a local community school
Nature Education (1:30 - 4:30 pm):
Discover your neighbours - wildlife and plants of the Don River Valley
Imagination Garden (1:30 - 4:30 pm):
Experience the arts and learn about your world. Festival arts workshops
for kids of all ages to express your
hopes, resolutions & visions for a healthy future. Art made can be worn,
carried and played bringing life to the
Living Rivers Procession and special Closing Ceremony.

marvellous song and dance in a beautiful natural setting. Celebrate our

Join with us and several honoured guests as we
explore art as an ecological practice
Living Rivers Procession & Closing Ceremony (4:30 - 5:00 pm):
Participate in bringing the river back to life as the
procession winds its way through the nature
pathways of the Don Valley Brick Works festival site. Join in giving
thanks -
be a part of the closing Ceremony!
