The Unitarians in the Greater Toronto Area participated in this year's Pride Parade in a big way!
This year we built a float that let Toronto and the World know we are here!
The theme of this year's parade was "Uncensored!". So, we publicly celebrated our rich tradition of "Uncensored Religious Exploration".
This year's Pride Parade is an example of how much fun and how rewarding it can be promoting Growth in the GTA. In the process we handed out 5,000 candies (fixed to 5,000 leaflets, of course!). It was a wonderful example of how the Small Groups, the Publicity Committee and dozens of individuals in the GTA Congregations can work together to achieve spectacular results.

On another note, the parade gave 50+ participants the opportunity to express themselves in a theologically-appropriate manner! In true Unitarian fashion, all the fronts of our T-shirts said "Canadian Unitarians" (i.e. "we are all part of the whole"), while the Universalist in all of us came out on the backs of the shirts ("we each have our unique path and form of expression"), as we customized them with the following adjectives:
