Mission, Vision & Planning

We can provide many resources including consultations, workshops, books, conferences, email discussion groups and "virtual introductions" to assist congregational leaders in their roles.

Just contact the Director of Regional Services for your area.

CUC Service Consultants can facilitate sessions like this one for Don Heights' Board Day Away. Front centre Rev. Debra Faulk. Third from right Linda Thomson, Director of Regional Services - East.

Ideally, individual congregations should review their Vision and Mission approximately every 5 years, and with this review they should undertake a process of self-assessment. Review processes can occur both naturally and intentionally.  Congregations that have current vision and mission statements are better able to plan strategically for their future. Volunteer Service Consultants are available in each region to consult with and facilitate processes, to help congregations with this work.

To discuss your congregation’s needs for Vision, Mission and Strategic Planning, contact the Director of Regional Services that serves your region.
