CUC Workshops for Worship and Sunday Service leaders
We have a range of workshops available for congregational leaders and can customize to your needs.

Testimonial:
Our Fellowship recently hosted a Worship Skills Workshop which was facilitated by the talented Wendy McNiven. Some participants had lots of experience in this area and had attended other worship workshops, some were absolute beginners. This did not intimidate Wendy, who came equipped to offer something for everyone.
Wendy employed her patient, organized approach to solving such mysteries as the difference between the offering and the offertory, when not to sit in a circle, and how to create ambiance on a shoe string budget. We learned ways to put our worship elements in the correct order, and ways to incorporate more music to our Sunday mornings. Each of the participants who were given one on one feedback regarding more effective public speaking came away with more skills as well as gratitude. Our congregation enjoyed one of the most moving readings that we have ever experienced by a member with a hearing impairment who had never given a reading before, following some coaching from the gifted, generous Wendy.

Responses have been positive from both workshop attendees and from members who are now enjoying the results in richer Sunday experiences with more confident worship leaders.

WOW! Weaving Our Worship

A full weekend program for service leaders and worship associates.
Worship, Sunday Service, Meeting—what we do together on Sunday Morning has more than one name. Whatever we call it, we need to ensure our worship is well crafted and meets the needs of all who attend: newcomers, long-time members, young adults, elders, families, humanists and spiritual adventurers!

This workshop will help your congregation’s experienced and new worship leaders to consider: congregational diversity, logistics, flow and the purpose of worship in congregational life.

Participants will learn what it takes to ensure people leave your Sunday services saying WOW!
