A
team of volunteers are standing by ready to consult
with your congregation, design and lead workshops in a
variety of topics related to congregational life.
Approximately 10 workshops per year have been provided
in each of the four regions (http://www.cuc.ca/programs/regions.htm) from
2003 on. Some sessions such as congregational
leadership retreats or workshops on developing a
covenant of right relations are provided to a
particular congregations. Others are open to all
Unitarians and UU's anywhere in Canada, but primarily
planned around the needs of a cluster of
congregations. Sessions vary between a half-day
session to full weekend events.
Each team meets to share information, requests and
perspectives from both Service Consultants and
Congregational Networkers and Liaisons to bring the
best of the whole team's knowledge, experience and
expertise to any consultation.
The team provides information to congregations, brings
feedback and input to the team and facilitates
communication among nearby congregations.
Service consultants in a particular area network with
the others across Canada to facilitate sharing of
resources and workshop materials.
These teams are supported by Program Staff - 2
Directors of Regional Services and the Director of
