Canadian Youth Social Justice

What are you passionate about? Humanitarian issues in Africa? The state of the environment? Our battle with consumerism? Whatever it is, this website will hopefully provide you with the information, resources, and ideas you need to tackle these issues and make a difference.

Remember, there are 3 steps to creating change:
  1. Knowledge
  2. Compassion
  3. Action.

People won't act on an issue unless they truly care about it, and they won't truly care about it until they are aware of it. It's up to YOU to educate yourself on these current issues so you can spread the word, instill passion in others, and create more activists!

Now, for the Issues:

We realize that a lot of the problems facing our world today are connected and are far more complicated than just 'The Environment', or just 'Social Justice'. But for the sake of simplicity, they have been broken down. For an brief overview that illustrates how interconnected social justice issues really are, see the page 'Our Global Web'.

Visit pages you are interested in for background information, descriptions of organizations, and ideas for action.

If you have an issue you would like to see up here or have any questions or concerns, contact the National Social Justice Coordinator, Anna Bishop. In order to make this site the best resource it can be, we need feedback. Please let us know what you think.
